Our client, one of the world’s most prestigious Am Law firms, is seeking a Senior Manager of Legal Innovation to spearhead AI strategy and legal technology initiatives across its nationally recognized Litigation practice. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity to drive innovation, enhance attorney workflows, and partner directly with firm leadership on the future of AI-enabled legal services.
This role will be hybrid & can be based in NYC, Chicago, D.C. or LA.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Legal Innovation Attorneys supporting the Litigation practice.
- Drive the firm’s AI and legal technology strategy, identifying opportunities to improve legal workflows, efficiency, and client service.
- Partner with Litigation attorneys, Practice Group Leadership, Knowledge Management, and Technology teams to implement innovative solutions.
- Design and deliver AI training programs, workshops, and adoption initiatives while measuring engagement and business impact.
- Evaluate emerging legal technologies and champion responsible AI adoption across the practice.
Qualifications:
- J.D. and active U.S. Bar admission required.
- 10+ years of legal experience, including practicing attorney experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing professional teams.
- Background in legal innovation, legal technology, knowledge management, AI, or practice innovation within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, strategic thinking, and change management skills.
