
Overview
A leading US law firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join its Abu Dhabi office. The team advises issuers, underwriters and financial institutions on complex international capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on cross-border offerings involving Middle Eastern issuers.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a 3–5 PQE associate with strong US capital markets experience who is looking to work on sophisticated international offerings within a high-performing global platform.
What You’ll Do
• Advise on international equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
• Work on cross-border securities offerings involving US and international markets.
• Support transactions structured under Rule 144A and Regulation S.
• Draft and review offering memoranda, registration statements and transaction documentation.
• Work closely with issuers, underwriters and financial advisers on complex cross-border deals.
• Collaborate with global teams across the firm’s capital markets and corporate practices.
About You
• 3–5 years’ PQE with strong capital markets experience.
• Background gained at an elite US firm or the US capital markets practice of a Magic Circle firm.
• Significant experience advising on ECM transactions, including both Rule 144A/Regulation S deals and SEC-registered offerings.
• Strong technical knowledge of US securities laws and cross-border capital markets structures.
• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Commercially minded with strong client communication abilities.
Desirable experience:
• Arabic language skills.
• Prior experience working on Middle East transactions.
• Exposure to debt capital markets matters.
