Overview
A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its growing London Competition Litigation practice.
Driven by sustained client demand and a strong pipeline of contentious antitrust work, the team has expanded significantly over the past 18 months. This role offers an experienced competition litigator the opportunity to assume substantial responsibility within a highly regarded and busy practice.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead significant workstreams on complex competition disputes.
  • Advise on follow-on damages claims, collective actions and CPO proceedings.
  • Handle litigation before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and other courts.
  • Work on cartel, abuse of dominance and regulatory enforcement matters.
  • Develop case strategy, including settlement approaches and cross-border coordination.
  • Engage with economic experts and manage complex evidence.
  • Build trusted relationships with sophisticated institutional clients and stakeholders.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop junior associates.
  • Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice.
About You
  • Approximately 6–8PQE, with substantial experience in Competition Litigation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK and EU competition law.
  • Training and experience gained within a leading international, US or top-tier UK firm.
  • A proven ability to manage major workstreams with appropriate partner oversight.
  • Experience of CAT proceedings, collective actions or follow-on damages litigation.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and strategic judgement.
  • Confident managing clients, experts, internal teams and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience supervising junior lawyers.
Candidates from claimant-side practices may be considered where they can demonstrate broad, transferable experience, strong technical competition law knowledge and the ability to advise sophisticated institutional clients. General litigators without a genuine Competition Litigation specialism are unlikely to be suitable.

Why Apply?
  • Join a highly regarded Competition Litigation platform with sustained momentum.
  • Work on sophisticated, high-value contentious antitrust matters.
  • Assume meaningful senior responsibility within a growing team.
  • Advise an impressive institutional client base.
  • Develop experience across major damages claims, collective proceedings and regulatory disputes.
  • Benefit from strong progression prospects and opportunities to help shape the practice.
  • Complete a focused interview process, most likely comprising two stages, with a possible third meeting where appropriate.
Applications are invited from experienced Competition Litigation lawyers ready to take a leading role in complex, strategically significant disputes.
