Overview

A well-known international firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior M&A Associate with significant regional experience. This role sits within private equity, sovereign investment, and strategic M&A, with a particular focus on transactions involving Sovereign Wealth Funds and state-backed entities. The practice is known for advising on complex, high-value acquisitions and strategic investments across multiple sectors.

What You’ll Do

• Advising on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions
• Acting for sovereign wealth funds, government entities, and institutional investors
• Managing transactions from inception to completion
• Leading negotiations and drafting transaction documentation
• Supporting junior lawyers and contributing to client development

About You

• 6+ years’ PQE in M&A from private practice
• Middle East regional experience is essential
• Experience advising or working with Sovereign Wealth Funds strongly preferred
• Arabic speaking preferred
• Strong technical M&A and corporate law expertise
• No in-house candidates
