The group is widely recognised for its market-leading work across the private credit space and for advising sophisticated investors on complex, high-value lending transactions across all market cycles.

The Private Credit team advises a diverse client base, including private credit funds, business development companies (BDCs), and select financial institutions. • Support transactions across all levels of the capital structure, from lower-middle market to large-cap and syndicated deals
• Assist with transaction structuring, diligence, and execution through signing and closing
• Collaborate with colleagues across corporate, restructuring, tax, and regulatory teams on integrated transactions
• Provide practical, commercial legal advice in fast-moving and complex deal environments
• Build strong working relationships with clients through high-quality service and responsiveness

About You

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
• 4–7 years of relevant lending or private credit experience at a reputable law firm
• Admission to practice law in New York
• Experience handling sophisticated, high-end lending transactions
• Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a demanding, collaborative team environment
