Overview

A leading US law firm is seeking US-qualified Corporate Finance & Securities Associates to join its high-performing London team. This is a growth hire within a busy, partner-led practice offering exposure to equity capital markets, securities work, and broader corporate transactions.

The team is looking for technically excellent corporate generalists with strong academics, first-rate training, and the ability to operate across both capital markets and wider corporate matters.

What You’ll Do

  • Advise on high-value corporate finance, securities, and capital markets transactions.
  • Work across equity capital markets and broader corporate matters.
  • Support partners and senior lawyers on complex, cross-border mandates.
  • Take early responsibility within a lean, high-calibre team.
  • Build a broad corporate skillset rather than being confined to a narrow specialist role.

About You

  • 2-5 PQE, with limited flexibility for exceptional candidates just below this range.
  • US qualified, with an elite US academic background.
  • Trained and qualified at an elite US, Magic Circle, or comparable top-tier firm.
  • Strong experience across corporate finance, securities, capital markets, and/or broader corporate work.
  • Technically excellent, academically strong, and commercially confident.
  • Comfortable working in a demanding, partner-led environment with high expectations and strong deal flow.
  • Open to relocation to London where appropriate.
