A leading international law firm is looking for a talented Construction Disputes Associate to join its highly regarded team in Dubai.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 2+ years’ post-qualification experience to work on some of the region’s most significant infrastructure, energy, real estate and construction projects. The team advises developers, contractors, employers and government entities on complex, high-value disputes across the Middle East.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of contentious construction matters, including arbitration, litigation, adjudication and dispute avoidance work. Experience of major international arbitration proceedings, particularly under ICC, LCIA or DIAC rules, would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on construction and engineering disputes
  • Assisting on international arbitration proceedings and litigation matters
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and legal submissions
  • Managing document reviews and evidence preparation
  • Supporting partners on high-profile regional and cross-border matters
  • Working closely with clients across the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors
Requirements
  • 2+ years’ PQE gained at a recognised international, UK, Australian or leading regional law firm
  • Strong experience in construction disputes, arbitration or commercial litigation
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
  • A commercial and client-focused approach
