
Overview
A leading international law firm is seeking a Competition Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded Competition, Regulation and Trade practice in London. The team advises major corporates, financial institutions and global technology companies on complex competition disputes, regulatory investigations and multi-jurisdictional litigation.
This role is ideally suited to a mid-to-senior level associate with strong competition litigation experience, particularly in the High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT), who is looking to work on some of the most high-profile antitrust disputes in the market.
What You’ll Do
• Advise on complex competition litigation, including follow-on and standalone damages actions.
• Support proceedings before the High Court and the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT).
• Assist with collective actions and large-scale multi-jurisdictional competition disputes.
• Work on cartel investigations, abuse of dominance matters and regulatory appeals.
• Draft pleadings, legal submissions and expert evidence in high-value disputes.
• Manage workstreams and coordinate with international teams on cross-border litigation.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers while maintaining direct client contact.
About You
• England & Wales qualified solicitor.
• 3–8 years’ PQE with specialist competition litigation experience.
• Strong background handling competition disputes before the High Court and/or CAT.
• Experience of collective actions or large-scale follow-on damages claims is advantageous.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong technical drafting skills.
• Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable managing complex litigation workstreams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
