Associate – IP Litigation

A leading international legal practice is seeking a small number of high-calibre IP litigation associates to join its growing Bay Area team. This is an opportunity to join at a pivotal stage in the development of a rapidly expanding practice with significant long-term investment and strong momentum in the technology and life sciences sectors.

The team operates with a lean, collaborative structure and offers associates substantial responsibility, direct partner access, and meaningful involvement in high-stakes patent and trade secret disputes from an early stage. The practice is led by experienced trial lawyers with extensive backgrounds representing major technology and life sciences companies in complex litigation matters.

Associates joining the group will benefit from close mentorship, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to grow alongside a strategically expanding West Coast platform.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2–6 years’ experience in patent and/or trade secret litigation
• A strong academic background
• An undergraduate or advanced degree in science or engineering
• Technical knowledge in areas such as computer science, artificial intelligence, and/or life sciences
• Strong analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills

Outstanding candidates outside the stated PQE range will also be considered.
