Associate – Debt Finance

A leading international law firm is looking for a junior to midlevel Debt Finance Associate to join its Miami office. This is an opportunity to work within a premier sponsor-side finance practice advising on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions alongside market-leading private equity and finance teams.

The team handles a broad range of complex leveraged finance matters and offers associates significant exposure to high-profile sponsor-backed transactions, acquisition financings, syndicated lending arrangements, and private credit deals. Associates benefit from lean staffing, high levels of responsibility, and integration into nationally staffed deal teams operating at the highest level of the US market.

This role is particularly well suited to candidates seeking top-tier transactional experience while being based in Miami rather than a traditional Northeast legal market.

• Advise on sophisticated leveraged and debt finance transactions

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• Junior to midlevel associate experience in debt finance or leveraged finance
• Experience at a leading national or international law firm
• Strong experience handling:
  • Acquisition financings
  • Leveraged buyouts
  • Syndicated lending transactions
  • Private credit matters
• Exposure to sponsor-side and private equity-backed transactions preferred
• Excellent academic credentials, including:
  • A top-tier law school background, or
  • Outstanding academic performance from a highly regarded institution
• Florida bar admission preferred, or willingness and eligibility to obtain admission
