
Overview
A leading international law firm is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate to join its London practice. The team advises both lenders and borrowers on complex real estate financing transactions across a wide range of asset classes, including mixed-use developments, hospitality, offices and build-to-rent projects.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a junior associate with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience who is looking to develop within a collaborative team known for its strong commercial approach and high-quality client work.
What You’ll Do
• Advise lenders and borrowers on a broad range of real estate finance transactions.
• Support development finance, acquisition finance, refinancing and portfolio financing matters.
• Draft and negotiate finance documentation including facilities agreements, security documentation and related ancillary documents.
• Work closely with colleagues across banking, real estate, corporate and construction teams on multi-disciplinary matters.
• Assist with cross-border transactions involving investors, developers, financial institutions and funds.
• Build strong client relationships while managing workstreams within transactions.
About You
• England & Wales qualified solicitor.
• 1+ years’ PQE with experience in real estate finance gained at a recognised City or international firm.
• Strong academic background and solid technical grounding in finance transactions.
• Experience working on real estate finance deals and finance documentation.
• Commercially minded with strong organisational and communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
