Restructuring Associate

Overview

A leading international law firm is seeking a Restructuring Associate to join its London team. The practice advises on complex restructuring, insolvency and special situations matters, acting for lenders, sponsors, corporates and other stakeholders across high-value domestic and cross-border transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ–1 PQE associate looking to take the next step within a highly regarded restructuring platform offering strong deal flow, close partner exposure and accelerated development within a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do

• Advise on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including distressed financings, liability management exercises and formal insolvency processes.
• Support complex cross-border restructuring transactions involving multiple stakeholder groups.
• Draft and review restructuring documentation, transaction agreements and related legal materials.
• Work closely with finance, corporate and special situations teams on multi-disciplinary mandates.
• Engage directly with clients, gaining early responsibility and exposure to high-profile matters.

.About You

• England & Wales qualified solicitor.
• NQ–1 PQE with restructuring, insolvency or relevant finance experience from a leading law firm.
• Training gained at a top-tier UK or international firm.
• Strong technical skills combined with commercial awareness.
• Hardworking, collaborative and motivated to develop within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive within a close-knit team.
