The London-based firm’s second office will be headed by Thomas Hanlon, director and head of Buchanan’s US practice. CEO James Baker is also relocating to Miami as the firm sees significant growth across the US market. They are joined by senior consultants Ciro Di Stefano and Emily Smith, with the firm’s 2024 extensive hiring plans for US-based associates being a priority following the launch. Buchanan Law specialises in placing legal talent in large full-service firms, smaller specialist firms and in-house at major corporations. These appointments cover the whole talent pipeline from newly qualified lawyers to seasoned partners.
