A leading US law firm is seeking a motivated Structured Finance Associate to join its London team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising on a wide range of structured finance and securitisation matters, working closely with partners and clients on complex, high-profile transactions.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a 3–4 years’ PQE associate to develop their practice within a top-tier US platform, gaining exposure to sophisticated structured finance work in a collaborative and market-facing environment.
About the Role
The firm’s Dubai corporate team is widely recognised for its market-leading corporate and private equity work. The team advises a broad range of clients on M&A, private equity, and corporate governance matters, and consistently works on some of the most significant and high-value transactions in the region.
This mid-level role is perfect for a lawyer with combined M&A and private equity experience looking to work in a dynamic, high-performing team with excellent partner access and career development opportunities.
What You’ll Do
• Advise on a broad range of structured finance transactions, including securitisations, CLOs and other asset-backed financing arrangements.
• Support clients throughout the full lifecycle of transactions, from structuring and documentation through to execution and closing.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex financing documentation, including facilities agreements, security documents and transaction structures.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support transaction structuring and client decision-making.
• Collaborate with colleagues across related practice areas such as banking, capital markets, tax, regulatory and corporate.
• Assist with business development initiatives, including client presentations, pitches and market updates.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market and regulatory developments affecting structured finance transactions.
About You
• England & Wales qualified solicitor.
• 3–4 years’ PQE with experience in structured finance or securitisation gained at a leading law firm.
• Strong academic background from a reputable institution.
• Solid technical skills and experience handling complex transactional documentation.
• Commercial, proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
