Overview

A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Projects / Construction Associate to join its Riyadh office. The practice advises sponsors, developers and government entities on complex infrastructure and project development matters across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.

This opportunity is suited to a senior associate with strong experience across project development, construction and corporate transactions who is looking to play a key role in the continued growth of a developing projects platform in the region.

What You’ll Do

• Advise on project development matters across major infrastructure and energy projects.
• Draft and negotiate EPC and construction contracts as part of large-scale project developments.
• Support joint ventures, M&A transactions and strategic partnerships within the projects sector.
• Advise on regulatory and government-led initiatives including PPP structures and privatisations.
• Lead workstreams on complex project transactions and manage deal execution.
• Work closely with partners on regional infrastructure mandates and client development

About You

• 5+ years’ PQE with strong experience in projects, construction or infrastructure transactions.
• Saudi national currently based in the Middle East.
• Experience gained at a leading international law firm.
• Strong experience with EPC or construction documentation as part of infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to corporate commercial work including joint ventures and M&A in the projects space.
• Familiarity with PPP structures, privatisations or government infrastructure initiatives.
• Strong academic background with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing transactions and leading workstreams with increasing autonomy.
