Restructuring Associate

Overview

An elite US law firm is looking for a Restructuring Associate (NQ -3rd year) to join their London office. The successful candidate will advise private investment firms, corporates, and facility borrowers on both UK and cross-border restructurings and insolvencies across a range of sectors, delivering strategic, practical solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in managing and executing complex restructuring and insolvency projects.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective restructuring strategies.
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support restructuring initiatives.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments affecting restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

About You

• Newly qualified (or due to qualify in March 2026) up to 3rd year of post-qualification experience in restructuring or insolvency.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of UK and cross-border restructuring and insolvency processes.
