Overview

A leading international law firm is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate to join its growing London practice. The team advises lenders, borrowers and investors on complex domestic and cross-border real estate financing transactions, working closely with colleagues across the US and Europe on high-value mandates.

This is an excellent opportunity for an associate within the 2–7 PQE range to join a highly regarded practice recognised in independent legal rankings, offering exposure to sophisticated work, strong partner interaction and genuine opportunities for progression within an expanding team.

What You’ll Do

• Advise on a wide range of real estate finance transactions, including acquisition financings, development financings, portfolio financings and structured lending matters.
• Support complex cross-border transactions involving multiple stakeholders.
• Draft and negotiate finance documentation, security packages and ancillary agreements.
• Work closely with real estate, banking and corporate teams on multi-disciplinary mandates.
• Engage directly with clients and take increasing responsibility for managing transaction workstreams.

.About You

• England & Wales qualified solicitor.
• 2–7 years’ PQE with experience in real estate finance gained at a recognised City or international law firm.
• Strong technical grounding in finance documentation and transaction processes.
• Confident communicator able to clearly articulate deal experience and commercial rationale.
• Motivated to join a growing team with strong international integration.
• Collaborative, proactive and commercially minded.
