Project Finance Associate (Doha)

Overview

A leading international law firm is seeking a Project Finance Associate to join its Doha office. The team advises sponsors, lenders and government entities on major infrastructure and energy projects across the Middle East, with a particular focus on project finance and PPP transactions.

This opportunity is suited to a 2–4 PQE associate with Middle East project finance experience who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility within a collaborative and growing regional practice.

What You’ll Do

• Advise sponsors, lenders and government bodies on project finance and PPP transactions.
• Support infrastructure and energy projects across the Middle East.
• Draft and negotiate project finance documentation and related agreements.
• Assist with due diligence and transaction structuring for complex project financings.
• Work closely with partners and cross-border teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
• Support clients across the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects.

About You

• 2–4 years’ PQE with project finance experience.
• Background gained at a leading international, Silver Circle or Magic Circle law firm.
• Experience advising on project finance or PPP transactions.
• Prior exposure to projects within the Middle East region.
• Strong drafting skills and commercial awareness.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to relocate to Doha.
