Our client, a prestigious global Am Law firm, is seeking an experienced Patent Client Services Administrator to join its nationally recognized Intellectual Property practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to support sophisticated patent prosecution matters, manage high-profile client portfolios, and collaborate with some of the industry’s leading IP attorneys.

This role will be hybrid and can be located in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Santa Monica, Seattle, Boston, NYC, or D.C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patent prosecution portfolios, ensuring accuracy, quality, and exceptional client service while proactively meeting critical deadlines.
  • Prepare, draft, proofread, and electronically file a wide range of U.S. patent prosecution documents with the USPTO.
  • Coordinate closely with attorneys, clients, and docketing teams to maintain accurate calendars, calculate deadlines, and ensure compliance with patent rules and regulations.
  • Serve as a trusted resource on client-specific filing requirements, reporting, and patent prosecution best practices, utilizing USPTO platforms and client systems.
  • Support a collaborative, high-performing IP team while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of patent prosecution experience, preferably within an Am Law or law firm environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. patent prosecution, USPTO procedures, complex IDS preparation, and IP docketing systems.
  • Experience with Patent Center, WIPO, Assignment Center, PTO Financial Manager, or similar patent management platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational, proofreading, and client service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
