Our client, a leading Am Law firm with a highly regarded global litigation practice, is seeking an experienced Legal Practice Assistant (Litigation) to support attorneys and paralegals in its San Francisco office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigation support professional to join a sophisticated team and take on a broad range of responsibilities across litigation administration, court filings, trial preparation, calendaring, and client support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys and paralegals.
- Independently prepare, file, and serve documents across State, Federal, and Appellate courts.
- Manage ECF/e-filing, court rules, deadlines, and calendaring requirements.
- Support trial preparation and logistics, including motions in limine, jury instructions, and related materials.
- Prepare and manage litigation documents using Adobe Acrobat, Best Authority, iManage, and other legal technology.
- Coordinate with courts, process servers, messengers, vendors, and clients.
- Assist with billing, timekeeping, invoices, and client-related administrative needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting litigation attorneys and/or paralegals.
- Litigation experience required.
- Proven experience independently handling State and Federal e-filing and familiarity with court rules.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and trial preparation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; experience with legal technology platforms strongly preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
