Legal Director – Real Estate Finance

Overview

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Director to join its London Real Estate Finance practice. The team advises lenders, borrowers, developers and investment funds on complex real estate financing transactions across the UK and internationally.

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced real estate finance lawyer to take a leading role on sophisticated transactions while helping to grow and develop an established and highly regarded practice.

What You’ll Do

• Lead on complex real estate finance transactions, including acquisition finance, development finance, refinancing and portfolio financings.
• Advise lenders, borrowers, developers, funds and investors on high-value financing structures.
• Structure and negotiate finance documentation across complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
• Provide strategic advice on refinancing, restructuring and capital structuring solutions.
• Manage key client relationships and deliver commercially focused legal advice.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers while supporting the continued growth of the practice.

About You

• England & Wales qualified solicitor.
• 6+ years’ PQE with strong experience in real estate finance gained at a leading City, national or international law firm.
• Extensive experience advising on development finance, investment financings and portfolio transactions.
• Strong technical expertise in finance documentation and structuring complex transactions.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead transaction teams.
• Collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring junior lawyers.
