
Overview
A leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Associate to join its growing London tax team. The practice advises on a broad range of complex transactional tax matters, supporting both corporate M&A and real estate teams on high-value domestic and cross-border deals.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a 3–5 PQE associate to join a collaborative and expanding team, working closely with senior partners on sophisticated transactions while benefiting from strong development opportunities and consistent high-quality workflow.
What You’ll Do
• Advise on UK corporate tax matters arising from M&A transactions, restructurings and strategic corporate initiatives.
• Support real estate transactions by providing tax structuring advice, including acquisition and investment structuring.
• Draft and review transaction documentation with a focus on tax provisions and structuring considerations.
• Work closely with corporate, real estate and finance teams on multi-disciplinary transactions.
• Provide commercially focused tax advice to a broad client base including corporates, investors and developers.
• Assist with business development initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.
.About You
• England & Wales qualified solicitor (or equivalent with strong UK transactional tax experience).
• Ideally 3 PQE, with flexibility for candidates between 3–5 PQE.
• Strong corporate tax experience gained at a recognised City or top-tier practice.
• Real estate tax experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience supporting transactional work within corporate or real estate teams.
• Strong technical ability, commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Motivated to work in a collaborative environment with early responsibility and client exposure.
