Corporate M&A Associate

Corporate M&A Associate | Phoenix | $240k+

We are currently working with a leading law firm looking to add a high-calibre associate to its Corporate M&A practice in Phoenix. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate (3rd class year or above) with strong academics and experience in sophisticated transactional work.

You’ll play a key role advising on complex corporate transactions, working closely with partners and clients throughout the full deal lifecycle.

The Role

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents (definitive and ancillary)
• Managing and coordinating due diligence on complex deals
• Advising on M&A, joint ventures and broader corporate matters
• Supporting financings, entity formation, governance and commercial agreements
• Working directly with partners and clients across all stages of transactions
• Managing multiple matters with increasing autonomy

About You

• 3+ years’ experience in corporate transactional work within a law firm
• Strong M&A or complex transaction experience
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple deals both independently and collaboratively
• Strong academic background (JD required)
• MBA or finance/accounting background beneficial (not essential)
