Associate – Private / Registered Funds

One of the world’s leading international law firms is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its highly regarded Private Funds practice.

This is an outstanding opportunity to advise leading private equity sponsors, asset managers and institutional investors on the formation, structuring and operation of sophisticated private investment funds. You’ll work on complex domestic and cross-border matters alongside market-leading partners, with regular collaboration across M&A, tax and finance teams.

The Role

You’ll advise clients on all aspects of private fund formation, including:

• Structuring and forming private investment funds
• Drafting and negotiating fund formation documents
• Advising on fund governance and regulatory matters
• Supporting fundraisings and investor negotiations
• Working closely with colleagues across M&A, tax and finance on complex transactions

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Mid-level associate experience (typically 3–6 years’ PQE or equivalent)
• Strong private funds or fund formation experience gained at a leading law firm
• Registered funds experience is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent drafting, technical and commercial skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients
• Admission to the relevant state bar, or eligibility to waive in
