A leading international law firm is seeking a French-qualified Construction Arbitration Associate to join its London disputes practice. The team advises on complex construction and infrastructure disputes, acting on high-value international arbitrations and related litigation across multiple jurisdictions.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an associate with 3+ years’ PQE and strong familiarity with the French market, who is looking to develop within a growing international disputes platform handling complex cross-border matters.

What You’ll Do

• Advise on international construction arbitration matters under major institutional rules.
• Support complex disputes arising from infrastructure and construction projects across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements and expert submissions for arbitration proceedings.
• Assist with hearings and case strategy development.
• Work closely with partners and international offices on cross-border disputes.
• Take increasing responsibility for managing workstreams and leading elements of cases.

About You

• French-qualified lawyer with strong knowledge of the French legal market.
• 3+ years’ PQE with experience in construction arbitration or construction disputes.
• Background gained at a leading international disputes practice.
• Experience working on complex cross-border arbitration matters.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex legal issues.
• Commercially minded and comfortable working within an international team environment.

Salary & Bonus

• Competitive compensation aligned with leading international firms (NQ reference salary approximately £160,000).
• Performance-related bonus structure.
• Typical utilisation expectations around 1,900 hours annually.
