
Overview
A leading national law firm is seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join its expanding Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Seattle. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of complex litigation matters for local, national, and international clients across multiple industries. This opportunity is particularly well suited to a 3–7 year associate looking to gain meaningful responsibility in sophisticated litigation while developing their advocacy and case management skills within a collaborative and high-performing team.
What You’ll Do
• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Manage and coordinate discovery, including written discovery and document review.
• Support trial preparation and assist with oral advocacy and court appearances.
• Work on matters at both the trial and appellate levels.
• Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues on strategic litigation matters.
About You
• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• 3–7 years of litigation experience gained at a law firm or through a judicial clerkship.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs in complex litigation matters.
• Active bar admission in Washington or the ability to waive into the jurisdiction.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
