What You’ll Do

• Advise clients on public and private mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
• Support the full lifecycle of deals from structuring through signing and closing.
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents including purchase agreements and ancillary documentation.
• Conduct and manage legal due diligence processes.
• Work closely with partners and cross-practice teams on complex transactional matters.
• Gain significant client exposure on sophisticated Bay Area transactions.

About You

• 3rd–5th year associate with strong M&A and/or private equity transactional experience.
• Experience handling sophisticated deal documentation and managing workstreams on transactions.
• Strong academic credentials and training from a leading law firm.
• Excellent drafting, organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced transactional environment.
