
Overview
A leading national law firm is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate to join its Denver office. The successful candidate will work on middle-market and lower middle-market M&A and private equity transactions for sophisticated clients across a variety of industries, including consumer products, healthcare, gaming, and hospitality.
This opportunity is particularly well suited to a 3–5 year associate who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment, and who wants to play a meaningful role on deal teams while contributing to high-value corporate transactions.
What You’ll Do
• Advise clients on middle-market and lower middle-market mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, equity and stock transaction documents, and ancillary corporate agreements.
• Support deal execution from due diligence through closing.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and partners across the firm’s national corporate platform.
• Participate in client engagements and strategic business discussions, providing practical and commercial advice.
• Assist with outside general counsel matters as needed.
About You
• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate M&A and private equity transactions at a law firm.
• Strong transactional and drafting skills, with experience preparing complex corporate documents.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Growth-minded with a desire to take on increasing responsibility on deal teams.
• JD required; bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction preferred.

• Base salary range: $240,000 – $265,000 depending on experience.
