Corporate Tax Associate

Overview

A leading Magic Circle law firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Associate to join its market-leading London tax practice. The team advises across the full spectrum of corporate and private capital transactions, finance and restructuring matters, real estate tax and complex tax disputes, frequently acting on cross-border mandates involving multiple jurisdictions.

This is a growth hire within a highly ranked team and is ideally suited to a 2–3 PQE associate looking to develop within a Band 1 tax platform known for its technical excellence and international reach.

What You’ll Do

• Advise on corporate tax aspects of public and private M&A, IPOs, demergers, restructurings and joint ventures.
• Support private capital transactions and sponsor-driven deals.
• Provide tax advice on finance and restructuring matters, including equity and debt transactions.
• Work on real estate tax matters involving developers, investors and lenders.
• Assist on complex contentious tax issues and multi-jurisdictional disputes where required.
• Collaborate with international offices on cross-border transactions.

.About You

• England & Wales qualified solicitor (candidates from comparable common law jurisdictions considered).
• 2–3 years’ PQE gained at a leading corporate tax practice.
• Strong grounding in corporate tax work; broader exposure across finance, real estate or disputes is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience handling complex, transaction-driven tax matters.
• Strong academic background and technical ability.
• Commercially minded and motivated to develop within a high-performing team.
