A leading London law firm is seeking a Tax Associate to join its established and well-regarded tax practice. The team advises across transactional tax, asset management and incentives, supporting high-value corporate, funds and investment-driven mandates.

This hire forms part of a strategic decision to strengthen the mid-level bench, providing additional support to junior lawyers while maintaining the team’s collaborative and partner-led structure. The role offers high levels of responsibility, direct client exposure and strong long-term development opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Advise on UK transactional tax matters arising from M&A, restructurings and investment transactions.
• Support asset management clients on structuring and tax advisory matters.
• Draft and review transaction documentation with a focus on tax structuring and risk allocation.
• Work closely with corporate, private equity and funds teams on multi-disciplinary matters.
• Contribute to client development initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.

.About You

• England & Wales qualified solicitor.
• Ideally 3–4 PQE, with flexibility for strong 2 PQE candidates.
• Broad tax experience gained in private practice (transactional, disputes or private client backgrounds considered).
• Interest in developing expertise within asset management tax.
• Strong technical grounding and commercial awareness.
• Motivated to work within a close-knit team with high partner interaction.
