Overview

A leading international law firm is seeking a junior Venture Capital & Emerging Companies Associate to join its London Corporate practice. The team advises on venture capital investments, emerging growth financings and related corporate matters across technology, life sciences and other high-growth sectors.

This opportunity is suited to a 2–3 PQE associate with genuine venture capital experience who is looking to deepen their expertise within a highly regarded, international platform known for sophisticated cross-border transactional work.

What You’ll Do

• Advise venture capital funds, growth investors and emerging companies on equity financings and investment rounds.
• Support portfolio company work, including follow-on investments, governance and strategic transactions.
• Draft and negotiate investment documentation, shareholders’ agreements and related corporate materials.
• Work closely with corporate, funds and cross-border teams on international mandates.
• Develop strong client relationships through direct involvement in transaction execution.

.About You

• England & Wales qualified solicitor.
• Approximately 2–3 years’ PQE with substantive venture capital experience gained at a well-recognised City or international firm.
• Demonstrable hands-on involvement in venture financings and emerging growth transactions.
• Strong technical ability combined with commercial judgement.
• Confident communicator able to clearly articulate deal experience and value-add.
• Motivated to develop within a collaborative and internationally integrated team.
