
Overview
A leading international law firm is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Development Coordinator to join its New York or D.C. offices. This role supports both attorney recruiting and talent development initiatives, partnering closely with local and global teams to deliver high-impact programs that shape the firm’s future talent.
What You’ll Do
• Support attorney recruiting efforts, including campus and summer associate programs, interview scheduling, hiring materials, and candidate communications
• Assist with onboarding and orientation coordination for new hires
• Help plan and execute summer associate programming, training sessions, and firm events
• Partner with local and global Talent teams to support firmwide recruiting and development initiatives
• Coordinate attorney training programs and associate relations events
• Track and support recruiting and professional development budgets
• Provide general support for special projects, events, and initiatives, including occasional travel and after-hours commitments
About You
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2+ years’ experience in human resources, attorney recruiting, law school career services, and/or professional development preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in a legal or professional services environment required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• Experience coordinating training programs, events, or multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Foundational knowledge of legal recruiting, attorney development practices, and professional development principles
