Overview
Our client, a prestigious, top-tier global AmLaw firm known for its world-class legal services and innovative approach, is looking for a OGC Counsel – Conflicts & Ethics to join its Office of the General Counsel. This highly strategic role sits at the intersection of legal risk and professional responsibility, partnering closely with firm leadership, partners, and internal teams across multiple U.S. offices.

Key Responsibilities
• Advise partners and internal teams on conflicts of interest, waivers, and professional responsibility matters.
• Review and analyse conflict reports and provide clear, risk-based guidance.
• Draft and interpret engagement letters, conflict waivers, and related documentation.
• Support the firm’s Ethics Committee and collaborate with OGC leadership.
• Implement and monitor ethics walls and compliance with applicable rules of professional conduct.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on legal risk and ethical considerations across the firm.

Qualifications
• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 3+ years’ experience in conflicts, ethics, or professional responsibility (law firm or relevant in-house).
• Strong analytical skills with sound judgment on complex ethical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience advising partners and working across multiple offices preferred.
