An elite US law firm is seeking mid-level and senior Leveraged Finance Associates to join its Corporate Finance team in London. The role offers the opportunity to advise leading financial institutions, investment funds, and corporates on a wide range of complex financial transactions within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The team is experiencing significant growth, allowing associates to play a key role in the development of the practice while gaining exposure to senior partners across the broader Banking & Finance team.
What You’ll Do
• Advise clients on complex leveraged finance transactions, including acquisitions, refinancings, and recapitalisations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation.
• Work closely with clients, senior partners, and internal teams to provide strategic, commercially-focused advice.
• Manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Leveraged Finance practice.
About You
• Qualified in England & Wales between 2018 and 2022 (mid-level to senior experience).
• Experience at a top-tier international or US law firm, ideally with leveraged finance or broader Banking & Finance exposure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.
